Go to SYSTEMS. Use the multimedia control button to enter the System menu. Select SERVICE & CHECKS. Then scroll down and click on the Service And Checks. Scroll down and select SERVICE INTERVAL. Then you just scroll through till you got the Service Intervals. Scroll down and select RESET OIL CHANGE INTERVAL. Disclaimer / Warning: I personally paid to get CarPlay activated on my 2016 Audi A6 Prestige Quattro with MMI Navigation Plus as suggested in another thread. I'm writing this after extensive research on the subject. These instructions are almost identical to the ones provided in the original thread (minus the remote assistance steps).
Fortunately, this is very easy in the C7 Audi because of the mObridge DA1. The mObridge will allow us to keep the MMI as the source while bypassing the Bose amp and giving an optical digital output which can feed an aftermarket DSP, amp and speakers. The mObridge bypasses all of the Bose signal processing, too.
