Canon telephoto tripod mount collar ring size. I've been thinking about purchasing either a 70-200mm f4L IS USM or a 70-300mm f4-5.6L IS USM second hand (my mind leans more toward the 70-300 though). They both didn't come with a tripod mount collar ring from the factory, but I've seen one 70-300 in the ad with it bundled in.

The 70-200mm f4 L IS USM has a very good/normal MFD of 1.2 meters. So do the other Canon 70-200mm lenses (like the f2.8 IS II and the non-IS f4). Some of the f4 IS's have terrible results at MFD, though. Others seem to do fine. The non-IS f4 has fine performance at MFD too, with nicer bokeh than the IS f4.
