Volume 12 is something of a return to form for Dorohedoro. En's family deal with the fallout from his murder, which reverberates around the sorcerers' world; the Cross-Eyes search for their boss; and Kawajiri and Nikaido reflect on their shared history, which appears to be growing increasingly complicated.
Plus, some of the twists in volume 4 are really well-executed. For the series as a whole, it's still gory, bizarre, and full of eminently likable characters. As long as you don't mind dark themes, blood, and the occasional bit of nudity, I truly can't recommend Dorohedoro strongly enough.

Even though, the creators haven’t made anything official, we can still expect Dorohedoro Season 2 to arrive sometime in 2023. Season 1 started premiering in 2020 and was having 12 episodes with 6 OVA. Following the same trend, season 2 will also have 12 episodes with an average running time of 23 minutes.
Thankfully, that wasn't the tone for the rest of this volume, but it is the reason it's not another five-star installment. It didn't go quite where I thought it would, after the huge development at the end of Volume 10, but I still thoroughly enjoyed Volume 11. Long story short, if you've liked the series thus far, you won't be disappointed here.
