Got my first mullet 3 weeks ago. Coming from a 29er. No 27.5” experience, went 26 > 29. Loving the mullet. I ride bike park (Whistler) and steep North Vancouver tech trails. The new bike climbs so well and climbs like a beast. Nothing but love. Going to convert my 29 EMTB to mullet this winter.
I have also never ridden an mtb with 27.5" or 29" wheels and of course the difference between 26" and 27.5" or even 29" wouldn't be as dramatic as between 20" and 26". [Reply] 2 0
There exist on the market studded tyres in all dimensions appearing above: 700c, 29″, 27.5″, and even 26″ (for as long as that size is supported). Controlling a bike on slippery conditions is easier with a (mountain bike's) straight handlebar than with a (road or gravel bike's) drop handlebar. I believe that every point above is accurate.
