Since the last firmware update on my Fenix 6s pro solar everything seems messed up: excessive battery drain, then a hard restart got the body battery stuck at a maximum of 68, and finally I noticed that the battery drain issue was actually not fixed but the battery indicator on the standard watchface was stuck at 9 days.

Garmin says 32 hrs of gps for fenix 5x plus,, so I think 30 hrs hiking over 4 days is reasonable. As long as its being stopped but not saved each night. Other option is to use ultratrac mode. That'll definitely last the whole time. Or even better, bring a spare battery to top up the charge overnight. Update 19.30 - Battery runs out in a short time. With this update, my Fenix 5 X Plus loses almost 20% of battery in one day, after using only the GPS for 16 minutes and no PulsOx at night. Without this update it lasted much longer. To lose a 20% it had to be at least 2 intense days of activity. I think there is a bug in the battery life.
They said to plug garmin into computer goto garmin directory and delete GarminDevice.XML, then turn off and on device. Support says this clears a corrupted update. When you turn watch on again, the file is recreated. This has affected some Fenix 6 devices but not all. Says if this doesnt fix device then return it to Garmin for replacement.
